Samhi Hotels, a well-known branded hotel ownership and asset management platform in India, was founded in 2010. As of 31 March 2023, it had the third-largest inventory of operating keys (owned and leased) in the country.

As of 31 March 2023, 12 of India’s major urban consumption centres, including Bengaluru (Karnataka), Hyderabad (Telangana), National Capital Region (“NCR”), Pune (Maharashtra), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), and Ahmedabad (Gujarat), are served by the 3,839 keys that the company has amassed over the course of its first 12 years of business operations. After the ACIC Acquisition (as stated below) was finalised on August 10, 2023, Samhi Hotels’ portfolio had grown to 4,801 keys over 31 active hotels.

According to brand classification, the corporation currently divides the hotel portfolio into three distinct hotel segments: Upper Upscale and Upscale, Upper Mid-scale, and Mid-scale. Upper Mid-scale and Midscale Hotels accounted for more than 51.14% of the total revenue for the Financial Year 2023. The markets with high density demand in places like Bangalore (Karnataka), Hyderabad (Telangana), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), and Pune (Maharashtra) support the Upper Upscale and Upscale hotels, which contributed to 47.35% of its total income for the Financial Year 2023.

Samhi Hotels keeps cash reserves to handle its financial obligations, and as of the end of March 2023, it had INR 141.40 crores in total cash and bank balances (excluding restricted bank deposits).
