IRM Energy, which was incorporated in 2015, is in the business of laying, constructing, running and growing the local or citywide natural gas distribution network. It is an integrated, value-driven energy company that develops natural gas distribution projects for businesses, residences, and automakers in specific geographic areas (GAs). Between Fiscal 2022 and Fiscal 2030, the CGD sector’s demand for natural gas is anticipated to expand at a CAGR of 15–16%.

With operations in Banaskantha (Gujarat), Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), Diu & Gir Somnath (Union Territory of Daman and Diu/Gujarat), and Namakkal & Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu), IRM Energy is a city gas distribution (CGD) firm in India.

The company provides PNG for use by domestic houses, as well as by commercial and industrial facilities, and CNG for use in motor vehicles. As of September 30, 2022, IRM Energy serves 43,183 home customers, 202 commercial customers, and 168 industrial customers.

As of 30 September 2022, the company had built a network of 56 CNG filling stations, 24 of which were owned and operated by oil marketing companies (OMC Stations), 30 of which were owned and operated by dealers (DODO Stations), and 2 of which were owned and operated by the company (COCO Stations).
